Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and drop you in the evening. Visit Old Delhi in the morning, see the impressing Red Fort. Afterwards you will walk through the streets of Chandni Chowk Market and Spice Market and visit the beautiful Friday Mosque, the Jama Masjid. After lunch you can visit Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, one of the most prominent Sikh Temples. If you want to dive into indian life, you can also join lunch with indian people in the Sikh Temple – it is part of the Sikh religion to offer free food for everyone in the temple. In the afternoon we will drive you through the Government quarter of Delhi, showing you the President House and India Gate. The tour continues to South Delhi where you will visit the breathtaking Humayun Tomb, World Heritage Site. If there is some time left, you can also visit the Lotus temple, Qutub Minar or the Birla temple.
You will drive from Delhi to Agra, 245 km, 4 hours. Depending on your time and wishes, you will visit Itamad-ud-Daula, also called the Baby Taj Mahal, right at the Yamuna River. The main attraction is the breathtaking Taj Mahal, a perfect marble mausoleum built by the mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his favoured wife. It is very beautiful in sunset, so we recommend visiting before breakfast, and we will also show you the wonderful view from opposite the river. The Red Fort in Agra is also worth a visit, which you should not miss.
If you have two days, on the way back to Delhi (230 km, 6 hours) you can stop at UNESCO’s ghost city, Fatehpur Sikari. It is said that this was the most beautiful city ever built, but due to water supply problems it was soon after abandoned.
You will drive from Delhi to Jaipur, 270 km, 6 hours. In Jaipur The Must-See are Amber Fort, in the Pink City the Palace of the Winds, Observatory and the City Palace. You can also visit Birla Temple, Walk in the Market, admire the tombs of Royal Gaitor, and enjoy sunset in the Galta Ji Monkey Temple. If you have only one day, it will be a tough schedule seeing part of this. If you have 2 days, you can visit all places mentioned.
