Golden Triangle Tour with Kashmir Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival Delhi

On arrival at Delhi airport, our representative with a placard displaying your name will meet you at the airport to pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. You can spend the rest of the day as you please. Overnight at a hotel in Delhi.

Day 2. Delhi Sightseeing

This morning after breakfast you will leave for a sightseeing tour of Delhi. Today you will visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in the country, visit Chandni Chowk and Masala Bazar and enjoy rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, then visit the grand but majestic Red Fort, Rajghat-memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, Humayun's Tomb-Delhi's finest example of Mughal architecture, the famous Lotus Temple of the Baha'i faith, medieval craftsmanship of Qutub Minar, Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan and India Gate. Rest of the day is free for your leisure. Overnight will be spent at a hotel in Delhi.

Day 3. Delhi to Agra

This morning after breakfast you will be driven to the Mughal city of Agra. Check in to your hotel upon arrival. After freshening up you will visit the famous Taj Mahal, the symbol of love, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. (The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday) Later, visit the Agra Fort built by the great Emperor Akbar and the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, often described as the Jewel Box or Baby Taj and considered a prototype of the Taj Mahal. The rest of the day is free for your leisure. Spend the night at a hotel in Agra.

Day 4. Agra - Fatehpur Sikri & Chand Baori - Jaipur via

This morning at sunrise you can revisit the Taj Mahal. After visiting the Taj Mahal, return to your hotel to freshen up and have breakfast. After breakfast, you will be driven to the Pink City of Jaipur, en route you will visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city built by the Mughal emperor Akbar, and Chand Bawdi located in Abhaneri village on the way to Jaipur. Chand Bawdi has 3,500 narrow steps on 13 floors. It extends about 30 meters (100 feet) into the ground, making it one of the deepest and largest stepwells in India. Check in to your hotel upon arrival. The rest of the day is free for your leisure. Overnight at a hotel in Jaipur.

Day 5 Jaipur City Tour

This morning after breakfast you will visit the Amer Fort built by Raja Man Singh in the 16th century amidst the Aravalli Hills, then visit Jal Mahal (Water Palace) and Hawa Mahal-the Palace of the Winds- is the most famous monument in Jaipur. In the afternoon you will visit the City Palace and Museum, conceived and designed by Jai Singh, this palace is a fine blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Walk to the adjacent Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory. Rest of the day is free for your relaxation or shopping. Overnight stay at a hotel in Jaipur.

Day 6. Jaipur - Delhi - Srinagar

This morning after breakfast you will be taken back to Delhi Airport to board your flight to Srinagar. On reaching Srinagar, you will be picked up and taken to the houseboat. In the evening you can sleep as comfortably as you wish. Spend the night in a houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 7. Srinagar Sightseeing

This morning after breakfast you will visit the world-famous Mughal Gardens. Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), Chashme Shahi Garden and Asia's largest Tulip Garden are the world-famous gardens in Srinagar. In the afternoon enjoy a Shikara ride in Dal Lake and enjoy the beauty that God has bestowed on this city, which is often compared to Venice. You will get to see some of the most interesting places around the lake and also visit the unique floating market on boats. Return to the houseboat and enjoy dinner. Spend the night in a houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 8. Srinagar - Gulmarg

This morning after breakfast leave for Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley. It is also popular for the world's highest golf course and skiing during the winter season. Check in to your hotel upon arrival. After freshening up you can take a Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg and enjoy the beauty of the snow-capped mountains. The spectacular clear day views from the top are worth the ride. During this ride, you will circle Nanga Parbat which is the ninth highest mountain peak in the world located in Pakistan. For the rest of the day you can spend as you please. Overnight at the hotel in Gulmarg.

Day 9. Gulmarg to Pahalgam

This morning after breakfast you will be driven to Pahalgam. On the way visit the saffron fields and the ruins of Avantipur, an eleven hundred years old temple. Upon arrival check in to your hotel on arrival and enjoy the natural beauty of the valley.

Visit Betaab Valley

After the refreshing tour, Betaab Valley, located just 7 km above Pahalgam, gets its name from Sunny Deol's film Betaab, which was extensively shot in the region. Surrounded by snow-capped mountain peaks and dense pine and deodar forests, the valley is the mouth of the Sheshnag River. Return to Pahalgam by evening. Spend the night at a hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 10. Visit Aru Valley - Srinagar

This morning after breakfast you will visit Aru Valley located about 12 km from Pahalgam, famous for its beautiful meadows, lakes and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The road itself is very good, the river flowing along the side, trees, mountains, snow, glaciers and finally a huge open valley. On reaching Aru Valley, climbing the mountain on horseback is a must-do. Return to Pahalgam by afternoon and drive back to Srinagar. Overnight at a hotel in Srinagar.

Day 11. Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar

This morning after breakfast you proceed for a full-day excursion to Sonamarg which is the most beautiful drive. On the way, you will stop at many beautiful places. Continue to drive to Sonamarg 2690 m (Golden Meadow). After reaching Sonamarg, ride a horse and visit Thajiwas Glacier which has snow throughout the year. Sonamarg is called the gateway to Ladakh. Return to Srinagar by evening. Spend the night at the hotel in Srinagar.

Day 12. Srinagar - Delhi

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Srinagar airport to board your flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi arrive and transfer to Delhi International Airport to board your onward flight.
