Tour Overview

Holi in India is celebrated from  February end to March according to the Indian calendar. Holi festival is a joyous festival of colours and sweets. The 7 Days Golden Triangle Tour is designed to celebrate the Holi Festival in the Pink City while visiting the other two heritage cities of this Golden Circuit. The celebration city can be changed or added for this purpose depending on your choice.

Golden Triangle Tour with Holi Festival Itinerary

 

Day 1: Delhi Arrival 

Upon arrival at Delhi airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and he will transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing

In the morning, visit Jama Masjid is constructed using red sandstone and marble and is one of the largest mosques in India, India Gate, a monument dedicated to the soldiers who fought for the country and Red Fort is one of the magnificent artworks of the Mughals built by Shah Jahan using red sandstone. After this, visit the Lotus Temple built in the form of flower-shaped petals and Qutub Minar built after defeating the last Hindu king in Delhi, which reflects Indo-Islamic architecture. Come back to the hotel for a night stay.

Day 3: Delhi – Agra

After breakfast, proceed towards Agra, the city of historical sites of the Mughals. After reaching there check in at the hotel and take some rest. After that visit, Agra Fort is situated parallel to the Yamuna River and it consists of several palaces like Jahangir's Palace and Khas Mahal. After that, visit the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, also known as the Jewel Box. After that, take a stroll in Mehtab Bagh. Return to the hotel for a night stay.

Day 4: Agra – Jaipur

Early morning, enjoy the panoramic views of sunrise at the Taj Mahal, built by Shah Jahan for his beloved wife. After breakfast, you will be driven to Jaipur, popularly known as the Pink City. On the way, Fatehpur Sikri was built and established by the Mughal emperor Akbar. Visit the Buland Darwaza built by Akbar. On reaching Jaipur check-in at the hotel and relax. Overnight stay will be in Jaipur.

Note: * Taj Mahal is closed on Friday

Day 5: Jaipur Sightseeing

After breakfast, the full-day tour of Jaipur will begin. Visit the Amer Fort situated on the top of the hill above Mawta Lake. The next visit will be to the Hawa Mahal which is famous for the jharokhas made for the royal women, Jal Mahal which is situated in the middle of a man-made lake, City Palace situated in the heart of the city. Next visit will be to Jantar Mantar which is one of the largest observatories in India. Later, explore the streets and try some shopping. Return to the hotel and enjoy your dinner.

Day 6: Holi Celebration in Jaipur

Today you will be taken to the designated location where you will celebrate the festival of colours with a large group. The festival will begin with a warm welcome and refreshing drinks and then the Holi celebrations will begin with full energy and upbeat music. All day long you will enjoy the festivities at the designated facility as all arrangements will be taken care of by the tour manager.

Later in the day, you will return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 7: Delhi Departure

Today post breakfast, check out and drive to Delhi International Airport to catch a flight for your onward journey. The colourful ends here.
