9 Days Rajasthan Tour Itinerary

 

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

 

On arrival at Delhi International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to the hotel with proper assistance. A welcome drink will be served on arrival at the hotel followed by dinner of typical Indian cuisine. Information on Rajasthan wildlife tour travel packages will be provided. Return to your luxurious rooms for the next day's tour.

Day 2: Delhi City Tour

After breakfast, get energized to explore the great treasures of Delhi. Start your day-long sightseeing tour to Old Delhi (Shahjahanabad) which includes the magnificent Red Fort built by the great Mughal emperor Shahjahan, Chandni Chowk, the oldest shopping hub of Delhi and Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India. You will be mesmerized by the great splendor of the city of Delhi. Later after lunch, walk through the impressive avenues and building structures like Rashtrapati Bhavan (President's residence), India Gate and Qutab Minar. In the evening at your leisure, you can wander in and around the busy Connaught Place and go shopping. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Delhi - Sariska

After breakfast drive to Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary. This sanctuary is home to a large number of wildlife and a wide variety of birds. You can also see tigers by taking a jeep safari or elephant safari. Night stay at Sariska Wildlife Resort.

Day 4: Sariska - Jaipur

In the morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur. On arrival check at the hotel, and after lunch leave for Amber Fort, the old palace is situated on a hill, definitely go on an elephant ride which is arranged from the foothills of Amber Fort to the fort gate and have a chance to roam around in the gorgeous landscape of the fort. The fort has some grand courtyards and palaces which will take you to the old era of Rajasthan rule. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Jaipur Sightseeing

In the morning you will be guided for a city tour of the Pink City. Visit the impressive City Palace, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar and Observatory. In the afternoon enjoy shopping at Clock Tower and Sardar Bazaar, famous for printed textiles, enamelled blue pottery, tie and dye works. Enjoy typical Rajasthani cuisine at Rajasthani Village (Choki Dani) - you will be full but there will be no end to the scrumptious dishes served in a typical Rajasthani thali which is not to be missed. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Jaipur - Ranthambore

After breakfast, we left for Ranthambore National Park and checked in at the hotel in Sawai Madhopur. From there you are taken on a jeep safari to see the tigers in this park. Apart from tigers, the park also has many other wild species of monkeys, langurs, gharials and motley birds. Overnight stay at Ranthambore Wildlife Resort.

Day 7: Ranthambore - Bharatpur

Morning drive to Bharatpur Wildlife Sanctuary. Treasure of the Park More than 400 species of different types of birds have been identified in the park and you can spot them everywhere. Many tourists who have visited this destination have reported it as the highlight of their tour. You can also spot migratory birds, Siberian cranes around the lakes and shoot them in your video. In the evening drive towards Agra city as this city is only 55 km away from Bharatpur. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8: Bharatpur - Agra

By morning you will be transferred to Agra, where you will be mesmerized by the sight of the Taj Mahal bathing in the rays of the morning sun. The intricate designs and exquisite domes of this monument of love will cast a spell on you. You will then be driven to another architectural marvel of the Mughals, the Agra Fort. After lunch you are right in front of the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah – the first Mughal building made entirely of marble, the predecessor of the Taj. Spend your night at the hotel.

Day 9: Agra - Delhi - Departure

In the morning after breakfast, you will depart for Delhi airport to catch a flight to your onward destination.
